Brief Description
In this course, the student is required to carry out a project related to telecommunications/electrical/biomedical engineering and submit a technical report/ dissertation. This dissertation is a substantial piece of work that will require creative activity and original critical thinking. The student will be under the guidance of a university supervisor.
Course Objectives
By the end of this course, the student should be able to:
·         Utilize a wide range of the skills learned at the University.
·         Partake a multidisciplinary research through the integration of material learned in a number of courses.
·         Improve his/her communication skills through the production of professional reports.
·         Acquire experience from academic world to the professional world.

By the end of this course, the student will be able to:
·         To deliver a product that has passed through the design, analysis, testing, and evaluation stages.
·         To develop problem solving, analysis, synthesis and evaluation skills.

·         Demonstrate a translational experience from academic world to the professional world
Modes of Course Delivery
The course will be taught by using case studies, meetings with the supervisor, laboratory work etc.
Assessment
The course will be assessed through the final presentation and project report. Their relative contribution to the final grade is shown below:
