Brief Description

This course intends to provide students with new Support skills of Curriculum supervision as compared the traditional ones. It equips the learners with a wide range of lesson observation skills that are supportive to the supervisee and the supervisor during the curriculum implementation process. It emphasizes the value of team work during the entire Curriculum supervision process.

A curriculum designer who also a team player during the curriculum development process.

 

Course Objectives

By the end of the course, student should be able to;-

 1. Justify the value the current Support Supervision process as compared to the traditional one.

2. Set up guidelines for an effective curriculum implementing process.

3. Compare and contrast the various roles of an Education Inspector and those of and Curriculum Support Supervisor.

4. Identify the Practices in School based Supervision, and Challenges.
